a rainy day, as we all know, is a beautiful thing. i don't even know where to begin to describe it.
theres something about the sky. that light shade of grey that looks like early morning, that makes you a bit sleepy and relaxed.
the rain looks like little slivers of silver (try saying that 5 times as fast as you can) as it falls to the ground, and the sound it makes as it hits the roof is very comforting.
both of these make all the foliage from the trees and the grass explode with color.
It is Beauty.
of course, its just a cold, miserable day if you don't have shelter. so, pray for the homeless on a rainy day.
as beautiful as a rainy day is, it is pretty easy to be bored on one. you can always watch a movie, listen to music, read creepypasta (scary stories) on the internet, read a book, or finish that assignment that desperately needs finishing (ahem). you were probably going to do those things anyway today, but its raining, so all those outdoor activitites you may or may not have been planning on doing are out.
i was going to go to the library so i would be able to put a funny picture or a video in this post, but my car is not working.
for something rain related, go to http://www.rainymood.com/ it is a continuous loop of rain sounds. very relaxing.
if you want some scary stories, look for any story by H.P. lovecraft, the father of modern horror. stephen king calls him 'the greatest american horror writer in history.'
